1. Update on “Quapaw 15 Project/Meeker Lake:
A. Surveyors are still at Lake resurveying.
2. Updates on Glenn Crest Park:
A. Pour #3 has been completed for the parking lot. This is the North & South side of the parking lot.
B. Both center sides have been formed and rebar in place.
I drove by the Park on Tuesday and 2 guys were wire tying the rebar together in the drizzle rain! Now that is some dedication.
One of the guys said they were hoping to pour that section at the end of the week.
C. More cut and broken limbs were removed.
D. New water lines are super nice.
3. Update on Ice and Windstorm:
A. More broken limbs from the recent windstorm.
B. Appreciation to all who are taking limbs to burn site at the sewer plant.
4. Update on “Light the Park:”
A. Homestead Park is still receiving a minor make over.
B. More broken limbs being removed.
C. A lot of plants and shrubs were planted. Approx. 50.
D. Band stage is being
prepped for a new coat of paint.
E. Lights and displays are being installed now.
5. Update on Parade:
A. Line up is at Meeker High School Gym at 5 PM and the parade starts at 6 PM.
Fire, police, cars, trucks, ATVs, floats, and others are expected. We hope and pray for great weather.
6. Update on Town Events on Dec. 5th:
Starting at 10:00 AM is Haggle Days on S. Fowler St.
At 2:00 PM, games, vendors, animals and crafts on S. Fowler St begin.
From 2:30 to 5 PM, there will be live music on Fowler St.
At 4:00 PM, Meeker Growth and Development will be sponsoring “Cookies & Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Clause” in Front of City Hall.
At 5:00 PM, the parade line up will start at the High School Gym.
At 6:00 PM there will be the “Festival of Lights” Parade from High School to Scott Street, then South.
At 6:30 PM is the Tree Lighting at City Hall
Then to Homestead Park for “Light the Park” Live nativity, caroling, poem reading, etc.

6. Update on grants:
A. We have applied for an Environmental Grant from Keep Oklahoma Beautiful and a Roadside Grant from Keep Oklahoma Beautiful.
