School board filings

The three-day filing period for school board offices in Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties concluded last week. Several races developed in each of the two counties.

Lincoln County Election Board Secretary Melissa Stambaugh said these were the candidates who filed for the following offices. They are 5-year terms unless otherwise noted.

Those who were unopposed, won new terms.

Agra School District, Office No. 1, Kyle

Hermann, incumbent, unopposed.

Carney School District, I-105, Office No. 1, Stacy Knox, incumbent, unopposed.

Chandler School District, I-1, Office No. 1, Tony Jarvis, incumbent, unopposed.

Davenport School District, I-3, Office

No. 1, Steven Walker, unopposed.

Meeker School District, I-95, Office No. 1, Lindel W. Standlee, incumbent, unopposed; Office No. 5, Josh Elliott, Robyn Miller, unexpired 4-year term.

Prague School District, I-103, Office No. 1, R. Fred Simek Jr., Kiley Bailey, incumbent.

Stroud School District, I-54, Office No. 1, Bryan Dervin, incumbent, unopposed; Office No. 4, Jerred Eversole, incumbent, Kenny Patrick, unexpired 3-year term.

Wellston School District, I-4, Office No. 1, Eric Bozeman, incumbent, Crystal Hull. White Rock School District, C-5, Office No. 1, Ray White, incumbent, unopposed, 3-year term.

Pottawatomie County Election Board Secretary Jeannie Stover reported these were the candidates who filed for the following offices. They are 5-year terms unless otherwise noted.

Those who were unopposed, won new terms.

With no more than two candidates having filed for any of the offices in the two counties, those with contests will square off in the Board of Education General Election on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, the two Election Board Secretaries have explained.

McLoud Office No. 1, Dustin M. Greenberg, incumbent, unopposed.

Dale Office No. 1, Rory Shane Brewster, Tim Collins, incumbent.

North Rock Creek School Office No. 1, Rick Gowin, incumbent, unopposed.

Gordon Cooper Vocational Technology School Office No. 3, Mike Matlock, unopposed.

In Shawnee: Office No. 5, Clif Harden, unopposed. Office No. 7, Bobby Canty, incumbent, unopposed.

Both are four-year terms, Stover said.
