Ofc. Wells responded to the West Gate Apts. in reference to a reported hostage situation. Nathaniel Burns was arrested for kidnapping, possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, feloniously pointing a firearm and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Friday, Jan. 1
Ofc. Batman stopped a vehicle near 4 th and Bennett Blvd. for an expired dealer tag. Citations were issued for no registration found and no insurance. The vehicle was impounded.
Saturday, Jan. 2
Ofc. Mustard stopped a driver at 4 th and Bennett Blvd. for improper license plate. Citations were issued for affixing improper license plate to a motor vehicle to hide vehicle identity and failure to carry insurance. The vehicle was impounded.
