Brooks Nickell, a Davenport High School graduate, was recently hired as the Web and Multimedia Coordinator at Seminole State College in Seminole, Okla.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis on videography and photography from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
Nickell has published work with multiple media outlets, including the Oklahoma Gazette and This Land Press.
He has worked as a photographer, videographer, editor and writer with multiple media outlets.
In his new role on campus, Nickell will oversee photography, videography and social media.
He will also assist in the redesign and management of the main college website.
