Municipal election filings

One race developed for a McLoud City Council seat during last week’s Municipal filing period and several other contests for town boards, city councils and offices in Lincoln County municipalities will be on the April 6 ballot.

The three-day filing period ended last Wednesday.

Several candidates have won re-election or election to positions when no one filed against them.

The election for those who are in contests will be Tuesday, April 6.

McLoud, all four-year terms:

Ward 4, Steven M. Tomaszweski, incumbent, won without opposition.

Ward 3, Daniel P. McClure, Jr., incumbent, won without opposition.

At-Large, James Woods, incumbent and Larry Dillon face each other in election.

In Lincoln County, they include:

Town of Agra, four-year terms:

Treasurer, Sue Chestnut, incumbent, won without opposition.

Two Trustees positions:

Ted Evans and Jimmie D. Watkins, both incumbents, each won without opposition.

Town of Carney, three Trustees positions, four-year terms:

Greg Wolfe and Darrel Bo Gibbs, both incumbents, and Alex Butler, each won without opposition.

Also in Carney, one Trustee position, unexpired twoyear term:

Jacob Thompson, incumbent, Marc Hughes, Connor Hughes will be on April 6 ballot.

And also in Carney, one Town Clerk/Treasurer position, four-year term. Tara L. Donovan won without opposition.

City of Chandler:

Ward 1, Ricky Evans, incumbent, won new four-year term without opposition.

Ward 3, David Burgess won four-year term without opposition.

Mayor, Gene Imel, won new two-year term without opposition.

Town of Davenport, three Trustees positions, each four-year term:

Brett J. Baldwin, incumbent, Lisa Taylor, Wes Mattheyer, Dennis Bates. The three receiving the most votes will each win a Trustee position.

Also in Davenport, for Treasurer, four-year term, Carol Ward, incumbent; Madison Blakley and Joy Walker.

Town of Meeker, 2 Trustees positions, each fourterms:

Aaron Head and Jeff Wilbourn, incumbents, each won without opposition.

Also in Meeker, one Trustee position, unexpired twoyear term, Billy Walker, won without opposition.

City of Prague, four-year terms:

Ward 1 J.R. Duvall, incumbent won without opposition.

Ward 2, John Klabzuba, incumbent, won without opposition.

City of Stroud, four-year terms:

Ward 3, Kyle Anderson, incumbent, Ward 4, Gary P. Babinec, incumbent, At-large position, Thomas W. Smith, incumbent, each won without opposition.

Town of Tryon:

Two Trustees positions, each four-year terms and one Trustee position, unexpired term.

Mary Lee Meisner won one of the four-year terms without opposition and no one filed for the other two positions.

Town of Warwick:

Ward 2, four-year term, Francis H. Coulson, incumbent, won without opposition.

Clerk’s position, four-year term, David Bouska, incumbent, won without opposition.

Town of Wellston:

Three Trustees positions, each four-year terms.

Jossie Mackey, Randall Danker, Michael D’Amours, Patricia Parker, Brandon Hunt, Charles Danker, incumbent, Shasta Berry.

The three receiving the most votes will each win a Trustee position.
