Ofc. Berry arrested Brett McWhorter at 8 th St. and Steele Ave. for speeding 30 in a 25 mph zone, driving under suspension, possession of controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) and possession of paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded.
Ofc. Phipps stopped a driver at First St. and Steele for defective lights. With assistance from Ofc. Wells, Charles Ray Russell was arrested on a municipal warrant and for felon in possession of firearm and defective equipment. The vehicle was impounded.
