Chandler sophomore Kobe Smith, shown at right on his way to pinning his first-round opponent, made it to the finals in the 160-pound bracket Saturday at the Class 3A state tournament.
The winner of the east regional and 15-3 going into the tournament, Smith won his first two matches before losing in the finals to two-time defending state champion Kolby DePron from Bridge Creek.
Alison Conway, Bailey Bigbey, Adalyn Massie and Chace Massie also competed in the tournament for Chandler.
