Blood donors needed

According to Alisha Lane of the Oklahoma Blood Institute, they are facing a critically low blood supply. Donors of all blood types are desperately needed to help them to avoid a blood emergency. There will be several opportunities coming up in the area to give blood.

On Friday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Oklahoma Blood Institute Bloodmobile will be at Parks Brothers Funeral Home, 617 Manvel Avenue in Chandler. For more information, contact Mandy Gunter, Primary Blood Drive Coordinator, at (405) 258-1178 or by email at pbfsdaily@parksbrothers.net.

On Monday, April 19, 2-6 p.m., the Bloodmobile will be at the Stroud Regional Medical Center, 2308 Hwy. 66 West. Megan Coffman is the primary blood drive coordinator and can be reached at (918) 968-3571 or mcoffman@fpresources.net.
