The Chandler and Meeker chambers of commerce have community events coming up in the next few days.
Chandler’s fourth annual Bell Cow Boil crawfish festival will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Route 66 Pavilion on Joe Long Drive.
$20 gets you all the crawfish, beans and rice, hotdogs and dessert you can eat. There will be inflatables, a barrel train and live music.
The Meeker chamber is having its city-wide garage sale next week, with May 5 being the last day to sign up. Registrations are $5 and can be accomplished at either bank in town.
After missing last year due to COVID, the Meeker Fire Department will again have its annual rib sale in conjunction with the city-wide garage sale.
The ribs are the stuff of legend and will be available beginning at noon on Thursday.
