Betty Charlene Thompson

Betty Charlene Thompson of Chandler was born February 11, 1948, in Okemah, Okla. She died Sunday, January 17, 2021, in Chandler at the age of 72 years.

Thompson married Rick Thompson on June 26, 1999 in Davenport.

She was a housewife and mother and retired from working in sales.

Her brother Roger Ott preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother Betty Melson of Stroud; her husband Rick of Chandler; five sons, Anthony Powell and wife Rebecca of Cochran, Ga., Todd Powell and Travis Powell, both of Chandler; Aric Scott Thompson of Georgia and Sean Thompson of Midwest City, Okla.; three grandsons; her sisters and their husbands, Kathy and David Helm, Gail and Danny Paine and Joy Bly; her sister-in-law Melonie Thompson; and other family and friends.

Services will be Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Kendrick Community Church in Kendrick, Okla., with Rocky Williams officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Reflection Pointe Gardens, Oklahoma City.
