Jerry Wallace Bryant, age 87, of Shawnee, Oklahoma,passed away on October 2, 2026.
Jerry was born on September 11, 1939, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
He lived a life filled with laughter and kindness and was loved by so many. Stories of his generosity and caring nature followed him throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ester Lue Bryant; his children, Don Allen Bohannon and wife Debrea Bohannon, and Deborah Diane Downey; his grandchildren, Amanda Bohannon Gamble, Brian Bohannon, Brandon Downey, Hannah Downey, Jackie Vaughan and Julie Vaughan; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Winfred Bryant and Hanna Mae Klutsenbeker Bryant. The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Watson officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
