Phyllis Ann Russell

Phyllis Ann Russell was born to John Bri an and Murel (Hale) Gray on April 2, 1945, in Parkland, Okla. She died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Meeker at the age of 75 years.

Russell was a 1963 graduate of Meeker High School. She worked as the secretary for Meeker High School and was a girls’ counselor and cook for Falls Creek Church Camp. She was a member of Hazel Dell Baptist Church in McLoud, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Fred Lee and Jack Gray.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bill Russell of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Rhetta Russell of Duncan, Okla.; and her daughter and sonin-law, Misty and Shane Blankenship of Meeker.

She is also survived by four granddaughters and other family and friends.

A funeral service was held Friday, February 12, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. Burial followed at Parkland Cemetery.
