A funeral service will be held for Terry Lee Thomas of Wellston at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. A private burial will follow at the Wellston Cemetery.
Thomas was born to Clarence W. Thomas (Jeff) and Oleta Thomas on August 3, 1937, in Oklahoma City. He died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the age of 83 years.
He served in the United States Naval Reserves, the U.S. Army Reserves and the U.S. Army.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Carol of 45 years and one grandson.
Survivors include two children, Todd Thomas and Kortni Howerton of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Joan Thomas of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Jeffrey and Lou Thomas of Oklahoma City; and other family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Wellston United Methodist Church or the American Legion in Wellston.
