Timothy Jacob Hicks was born the eighth of 10 children on June 20, 1942, in Tryon, to Robert and Cora (Amrine) Hicks. He passed away on September 15, 2026, in Oklahoma City at the age of 84.
In 1960, he married Mary Lamb, and twins, Robin and Randy, arrived soon after that.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 60 years and his son. Survivors include his daughter and her husband; grandchildren Kendra and Travis Corbin, Jenna and Kyle Gilliland, Jeremiah Hicks, Jessica and wife Vanessa Hicks, Janet Hicks, Julie and husband Michael Wilcher, Katie Hicks; and six great-grandchildren, along with many friends.
A funeral was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel, and interment followed in the Luther Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
