Garvin Eugene Lamb

A memorial service will be held for Garvin Eugene Lamb at 2 p.m., today, June 11, 2020, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. Burial with full military honors will follow at Iowa Chapel Cemetery in Perkins, Okla.

Lamb was born to Garvin and Lucille (Rowland) Lamb on June 26, 1947, in Stillwater, Okla. He died Sunday, June 7, 2020, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 72 years.

He graduated from high school in Guthrie, Okla., in 1965 and served in the United States Air Force. C He retired from Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Okla.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Debra (Hancock) Lamb of the home; his son and daughter-in-law Tyler and Sheryl Lamb of Paden, Okla.; two grandchildren; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Tim Hicks of Luther, Okla., and Lisa and Randall Husband; and other family and friends.
