Shawn Wesley Walker of Chandler Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 5th 2022 at the age of 48 years. He was born August 30th, 1974 in Norman Oklahoma to Wayne Walker and April McAlpin.
Shawn graduated from Foothills Adult High school in El Cajon CA. in 1994, and later attended Cayamaca College. Shawn loved to travel and lived many places throughout his life. As an adult he worked with horses as a Ferrier. He loved history, traveling, nature, animals, and driving those red dirt roads with his love, Brenda Rich. Shawn lived every day like it was his last and loved others unconditionally. If he had one dollar in his pocket, he would gladly give it to a stranger to help pay for their groceries or something they needed. He was full of love in a not so perfect world, and was a blessing to all who knew him. His grandparents preceded Shawn in death. His parents, Wayne Walker, and April McAlpin, several half siblings, his love Brenda Rich of Chandler, and many other extended family and close friends, survive him. A memorial service will be held in his honor September 18th at the Davenport Baptist Church at 3pm.
