Karen Lynn (Bevins) Raper, 80, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Karen was born on Thursday, October 17, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to Melvin Louis and Lucy (Wiest) Bevins. She was their only child.

William “Bill” Dingman Sr.

William “Bill” Leroy Dingman Sr., passed away on December 16, 2022 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 84. Bill was born on January 10, 1938 on the family farm in Stroud. He was the son of Donald “Pappy” and Susie (Foster) Dingman.

Sheriff’s Office Shop With A Cop

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office held its Shop With A Cop Thursday. Members of the department shopped with a family of three boys, ages 13, 10 and 7. The children got to pick out toys and clothes, as well as some groceries.
