Stroud to send four to 2023 girls State

The Stroud American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) will be sending, for the first time, four young women to Girls State this year.

Meeker Middle School has announced its honor roll for the first semester.

Chandler BPA shines

Ten Chandler BPA students qualified for state competition and seven were able to attend and compete earlier this month. Out of the seven competitors, four will be advancing to Nationals that will be held in Anaheim, California April 26-30th.

January Rotarians announced

Emma Cummings and Payton Miller have been selected as Rotarians of the Month for the month of January. Emma Cummings is the daughter of Rafe and Christon Cummings. Emma has one older brother, Ethan Cummings.

Cake auction nets $19,500

Meeker Ag Booster Club had a successful Cake and Trophy Auction. FFA members worked all week getting together cakes, ssuch as the one carried here by member Billy Buoy, hop projects, and class baskets to auction off. The Grand Champion FFA Cake belonged to Makalyn Pryor.
