Meeker backs up on Meeker Lake water request

Meeker Town Board of Trustees this week voted to withdraw its request to increase the municipal water supply to 2,790 acre feet and instead retain the current water supply of 1,000 acre feet as part of the Meeker Lake dam rehabilitation process.

Sentencing continued for Wellston attorney

The sentencing for a Wellston attorney who has entered no contest pleas to several felonies has been continued until next month.Formal felony charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on Dec. 6, 2022 against Debra Dawn Campbell, 59 at the time.
