Stroud man faces felony

A Stroud man who has several prior felony convictions is facing a new felony.Charles Buchanan Fields, 54, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court March 31, 2025 with possession of contraband by an inmate.He appeared before Associate District Judge Joe Dobry March 28.

A Wellston man previously convicted of several felonies faces a new felony and a misdemeanor.William Lee Willis, 51, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court March 31, 2025, with domestic assault and battery by strangulation and resisting an officer.

A Chandler man who reportedly secured a job with Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs in Tecumseh and faces five felonies related to alleged crimes dealing with child pornography has pleaded innocent and is scheduled for a felony docket in August.

Agra man ordered to reappear

An Agra man facing two counts of child sexual abuse has been ordered to reappear in court with an attorney later this month.John David Somers, Jr., 33 at the time he was charged, has entered an innocent plea. District Judge Sarah Bridge has continued the case to the June 2025 jury term.
