Four Lincoln County students are the recipients of scholarships from Oklahoma State University’s Ferguson College of Agriculture for the 2026-27 academic year, a press release from the university said.Ryan Dehart from Carney received the Joseph Fleming Memorial Continuing Scholarship.

DA files charges against Prague man

The Lincoln County district attorney filed a domestic assault charge against a Prague man after a reported altercation with his girlfriend.

Lincoln County On-Stage at 108 E. 8th Street in Chandler will present the world premiere of Black Sunday written by Ben Myers and directed by Mandy Myers. The show will feature the music of Flying Armadillo and the cast telling stories of the Dust Bowl. Performance dates and times are April 10, 11, 17, and 18 at 7:00 PM and April 12 at 2:00 PM. Farmers markets blossoming across the county

It was a blustery spring morning, not unlike most mornings in April in Oklahoma.Several stalls were set up next to the courthouse in Chandler, with a decent crowd of people moving from one to the other. They had everything from farmfresh beef to vegetables, eggs, even coffee and lotions.
