Pair to stand trial

A man and woman facing multiple charges alleging sex crimes against a child have been bound over to stand trial. During their arraignments on Sep. 20, Angela Renee Gordon, 42, of Claremore and John Joshua Bonner, 46, of Chandler, District Judge Cindy Ashwood scheduled their jury trials for 9 a.m.

Meeker approves statement of needs

The Meeker Board of Education recently approved the Estimates of Needs and financial statement for 2022-2023, hired a teacher, an Aide and also an adjunct teacher. Board members also accepted the resignation of an Aide as well. School Supt.

Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to approve submitting their Estimate of Needs for the current Fiscal Year to their budget maker, Wilson, Dotson and Associates. County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained, “This is what will go to them. It’s just the Estimate of Needs.
