Not guilty on felony charges

A Lincoln County jury has found a Choctaw man innocent of five felony charges that had accused him of first degree rape and lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16. It was the only felony that went to trial during the recent two-week jury trial session that wrapped up June 17.

Charges filed in kidnapping

A Chandler man is facing a charge of kidnapping after former conviction of two or more felonies. Micah Sean Thomason, 43, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on May 10 with that felony.

Felony charge in Meeker DUI case

A Meeker man faces a felony DUI charge and several misdemeanor counts following his arrest recently by Meeker police. The charges were formally filed in Lincoln County District Court on April 18 against Tyler Marc Armitage, 22.
