Motion denied in deadly crash

A Lincoln County District Judge has denied a motion to quash filed by a defendant charged with manslaughter in the driving death of a Stroud woman. Jessie O.

A representative from Adventure Golf out of Michigan stopped by this past Sunday on his way to Texas for a hunting trip. He checked out our golf course and answered some questions we had about the set-up of the course.

Sidewalks for Park

A contract has been awarded for nearly a mile of sidewalk improvements on Park Road in the city of Chandler. Chandler City Manager James Melson explained the project runs from Park Road Elementary School extending east.

Football playoffs

Chandler, Davenport, Stroud and Prague will be in the high school football playoffs, which start Friday night. Chandler will host the Perry Maroons and Prague will travel to Oklahoma Christian for the Class 2A playoffs.
