Southwestern honor rolls

Approximately 711 students from Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford and Sayre completed requirements for associates, bachelors or doctoral degrees after the 2021 spring semester.

Oklahoma State University announced area honor rolls

Honor rolls have been released for the 2021 spring semester at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Full-time undergraduate students who completed 12 or more hours with a grade point average of 4.0 made the President’s Honor Roll, and students with a GPA of 3.

Officials at Wellston High School recently announced the Valedictorians and Salutatorian for the graduating class of 2021. Achieving a 4.0 or better grade point average during their high school years were Emma Janes, Tricity Ross and Hailey Wallace. Skylar Jackson is the 2021 class Salutatorian.

Chandler seventh-grader Caden Eyestone won an archery world championship last week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He competed at the National Archery in Schools Program national tournament and qualified for the world event, which we won.

Evan Gwin, a 2021 senior at Chandler High school, made the All-State Golf team. The game is at the Cherokee Golf Club in Catoosa, Oklahoma on July 26 according to the Oklahoma Coaches Association. He began playing golf in the eighth grade, while he was attending Community Christian School.
