Drug charges at jail

A Wellston woman faces two felony charges after she reportedly brought drugs into the Lincoln County Jail in Chandler and also disseminated them. Sarah Dawn Brumley, 38, is accused of bringing drugs into the jail in late December and being in possession of them as an inmate.

Prague plans OPAT Play Day

There will be an Oklahoma Parents as Teachers Play Day 10-11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 22, at the Prague Upper Elementary School. The focus will be on activities to develop fine motor skills. Children can take part in activities, crafts and games. Snacks will be served.

Thelma Fern Campbell Fowler

Thelma Fern Campbell Fowler was born on January 14, 1949, to Marshall Monroe Campbell and Rozelma Fern Woolf Campbell in Sulphur, Okla. She graduated from Sulphur High School in 1967. She was married to Douglas Jack McQueen in the early 70’s.

Joshua James Jackson

Joshua James Jackson was born to Jerry Jackson and Teri O’Hern on August 13, 1987, in Stroud. He died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the age of 33 years.

James Floyd “Jim” Norman

Jim Norman, longtime Davenport, Okla., resident was born April 6, 1942, in Wewoka, Okla., and departed this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, in Chandler, Okla., at the age of 78 years. Jim was the son of Charles Thurman “C.T.” and Ella (Barkhimer) Norman.

Lois Ann Sol

Lois Ann Sol was born to Arthur and Myrtle (Swanson) Cook on February 13, 1927, in Missoula, Mont. She died Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home north of Chandler. She was 93 years old. Sol showed and sold paint horses along with her husband John Dirk Sol.
