1,000th career point for Young

Stroud senior Jadyn Young scored her 1,000 point of her career last week n the Lady Tigers’ game at Depew. Coaach Jake Jobe presented with a commemorative basketball on Thursday night during a halftime in the 66 Coliseum Classic at Stroud. With her are her parents, Jennifer and Ron.

Clarence Wayne Cotter

Clarence Wayne Cotter was born to Barbara Ann and Bobby Eugene Cotter on May 11, 1952 in Edmond, Okla. He married Ruby Leona McDaniel on January 20, 1972 in Chandler. They had five children whom they raised in Midwest City and Chandler, Okla.

Houston Glover Crittenden

Houston Glover Crittenden of Stroud was born July 13, 1942, and died Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was 78 years old. Crittenden had a career in law enforcement retiring as chief of the Stroud Police Department.

Gayle Gentry Wright

Gayle Gentry Wright of the Parkland/Agra area was born June 1, 1957, in Oklahoma City, and died Thursday, January 7, 2021, at her home. She was 63 years old. Wright, the daughter of Wayne and Patsy (Covington) Coleman, married Randall Wright on May 31, 1975, in Parkland.

Glen Leake

Glen Leake was born in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Minnie Kalka Leake and William Eldon Leake on October 29, 1929. He died January 2, 2021. Glen was born at the beginning of the Great Depression, which were very hard times. As a young boy, there were always chores to do on the farm.

Dustin Wayne Hill

Dustin Wayne Hill was born to David Wayne Hill and Stacy Annette Hill on October 2, 1983, in Shawnee, Okla. He died Saturday, January 2, 2021, in Bristow, Okla., at the age of 37 years. Dustin attended Stroud High School and worked as a fabrication welder for Hero Flare.
