Pott County livestock show next week

Around 350 FFA and 4-H exhibitors are expected at this year’s Pottawatomie County Junior Livestock Show next week at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center in Shawnee. Suzanne Gilbert is chairperson of the show that opens Tuesday, March 3 and runs through Friday. March 6.

JUCO tournament returns to Shawnee

This year’s 2020 Region II National Junior College Athletic Association tournament scheduled for March 4-7 at Oklahoma Baptist University marks a milestone. It’s the 25th consecutive year for the tournament to be played in Shawnee.

Sleep study

Complaint at Town Hall

The Meeker Town Board of Trustees spent time in executive session last Thursday night discussing a pending employment complaint filed by the City Clerk. City Clerk Mary Conner reportedly filed the complaint.

Districts are done - on to regionals
