Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to approve an agreement with Corbin, Merz and Haney for architectural services for the new OSU Extension Office building.

Lincoln County Clerk Alicia Wagnon has said previously cost of the proposal from Corbin, Merz and Haney is for $76,250 and for a 4,700 square feet building.

Commissioners also voted to reject a bid on a 400-gallon skid unit fabrication for the Fallis Fire Department. Officials with the fire department believed the bid was too high and recommended the commissioners reject the bid.

They did vote to start the bid process for the Sparks Fire Department for a used pumper tanker.

Commissioners decided to wait on approving a Memorandum of Understanding with Turn Key Health for mental health and substance abuse counseling in the jail.

They approved the Estimate of Needs for the REAP Grant account.

In other business, commissioners: Proclaimed May 5-11, 2024 as Oklahoma Home and Community Education Week for OSU.

Approved a Juvenile Detention Services agreement. Approved a quote of $540 per month from the Jeremiah House for lawn services at the courthouse.

Adopted a resolution to accept a donation from Terry and Charlotte Langley for District 3.

Adopted a resolution authorizing application to the Attorney General Opioid Abatement Grant.

Approved a settlement distribution for the JUUL case. Wagnon said it would be $831.45 to the county.

Without an official vote, agreed to changes in vending machine snacks.

Took no action on water cooler quotes.
