On March 30, 2024, BettyAnnGeorgeDawley departed her earthly home. Upon her arrival in heaven, it has been confirmed, Mona Lisa’s smile is in fact the second most famous.

Betty was born August 27, 1947, to Robert Allen and Anna Lois (Mullen) George. She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Robert (JR) Ratliff and husband of 30 years Rip Dawley. Those left to cherish her memories are daughter Debbie Ratliff; sister Letha George Ramsey, and husband Terroll; two nieces, Angela and Monty Ward, Terra & Zac Morrow; David & Geneva Dawley; two grandsons, David & Bri Dawley and Eric & Andrea Dawley. Very precious to Betty are her six great grandchildren and her greatest joy was making chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodle cookies and key lime pie with and for Rhianne, Gracie, Addie, Ella, Jackson, and Kevin. Aunt Doris George, Aunt Joy (Mullen) Wilson and Uncle Charlie Mullen.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Friends Church in Chandler under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
