WandaKay(Hightower) Thompson was born May 4, 1946, in Bristow to Andy and Zelta (White) Hightower. She passed away on May 10, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of 79.
Wanda married Roy Allen Thompson, Sr. in June 1966.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Everett Dale Melson, Sr. and two sons. Survivors include her husband of nearly 59 years, a son, a brother, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, May 16, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Davenport. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
