For Morgan, the news that the season - and her senior year - were ending was disappointing, to say the least.
“It was upsetting. It was the last goaround with my girls from sofrtball,” she said. “I came to the conclusion they were doing the right thing to keep up safe.”
Morgan was a member of the Chandler team that won state in fastpitch and slowpitch when she was a freshman. From there to ending her career prematurely gave her the highs and lows of the sport.
“Once you had that experience, it’s hard to know you won’t get to do it any more,” she said.
But she has a lot of memories, including getting to play with her older sister, Karlee.
