Leona Wilbanks was bornNovember2,1939, and was raised in Cromwell, Oklahoma, where she graduated from high school. She passed away on November 27, 2024, in Oklahoma City after a long battle with kidney disease at the age of 85.
Leona was preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, her loving husband Carl, and a daughter-in-law. Survivors include her brother, two children, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment followed at Sand Creek Cemetery just east of Cromwell. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
