Hugh Edward Willoby, 92, of Chandler, Oklahoma, passed away on October 28, 2025. Born December 14, 1932, he graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and the Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where he met his wife, Betty Jean Buckner. Together, they adopted two children, Elizabeth Ann and Hugh Douglas.
Aretired minister of the United Methodist Church, Hugh devoted his life to faith and service. He is survived by his son, Hugh Douglas Willoby, and was preceded in death by his wife and daughter.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, Oklahoma. No funeral service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to a local church or charity of your choice in his memory.
