Prague High School announces valedictorians, salutatorian

Prague High School has announced its valedictorians and salutatorian for the graduating Class of 2026. Valedictorians are Hope Birdwell, Kamryn Evig, Jeremiah Griffith, Britten Himle, Harley Johnson, Hayden Kinslow, Frank Provaznik, Addison Richardson and Brianna Roller. Talan Thomas is the salutatorian.

Hope Birdwell, Valedictorian

Hope Birdwell is the daughter of Zeb and Lesley Birdwell and has attended Prague Public Schools for seven years.

She was selected as a Vision Bank Acadmeic Letter Jacket recipient;Vision Bank Outstanding Junior of theYear; Kiwanis Club Sophomore of the Year; PHS Science Student of the Year 2025; State FFADegree recipient withAcademic Excellence Honors; Oklahoma FFA Washington Leadership Conference Scholarship recipient; NationalFFAChoir Member (two years); State FFA Choir Member (four years); State FFA Talent Member; Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Prague Ambassador; selected as one of two HOBYdelegates forWorld LeadershipCongress2024; HOBY Junior Staff for 2026 Oklahoma HOBY Seminar;HOBYAcademic All Star 2026; Oklahoma Girl’s State Delegate for Prague; Girl’s State Secretary of Agriculture; House Page for Rep. Hope’s clubs and organizations include FFA, where she served as president from 2024-25 and 2025-26 and as chaplain from 202324. She’s also in Student Council, where she was executive president from 2025-26 and senior and junior class secretary, and sophomore and freshman class senator. She was in National Honor Society (three years with one as vice president), BPA(secretary, treasurer and sophomore representative), the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Teen Board, Girl’s Golf Team (co-captain from 202426), Leadership in Action (sophomore representative), Counselor’s Leadership Team, band (leadership team two years), News Team, Youth for Christ and Gifted and Talented.

Hope’s community involvement includes volunteering with many organizations, such as Junior AmericanAuxiliary,Vision Bank Financial Leadership Council and BancFirst Student Board of Directors. She is also the Kolache Queen and has been a folk dancer for two years and Beseda dancer for two years.

After graduation, Hope plans to attend the University of Oklahoma, where she has been selected as a member of the President’s Leadership Class and the Honors College. She will major in Sociology-Criminology with an emphasis in pre-law. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she plans to attend law school and aspires to work at a law firm or open her own family or criminal law practice. She hopes to make a direct impact on the lives of children and families, all while doing what she loves.

Kamryn Evig, Valedictorian

Kamryn Evig is the daughter of Justin and Andrea Evig, and she has attended Prague Public Schools since her freshman year.

She has a 4.0 GPA and has lettered in track and cross-country. She also received the Be A Champ Camp Effort award, Grand Champion Hereford Bull 2023, OKC, and Reserve Division Hereford Bull in 2024 or 2025.

Kamryn’s clubs and organizations are Youth for Christ, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Business Professionals of America (BPA), National Honor Society, Track and Field, Cross Country and Archery.

Her community involvement includes volunteering at Christmas in the Park, the Chamber Banquet, Ag Days, and theVeterans Day breakfast.

After graduation, Kamryn is shipping to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri for the Army National Guard in June. When she returns, she plans to go to collegeforanAgEducation and Business degree.

Jeremiah Griffith, Valedictorian Jeremiah Griffith is the son of Rhett and Dana Griffith, and has attended Prague Public Schools since fifth grade.

He has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of National Honor Society. He has also made the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Jeremiah’s clubs and organizations include the Boy Scouts ofAmerica and the Eagle Scouts.

He has volunteered as a math tutor and through the Boy Scouts.

After graduation, Jeremiah plans to attend Rose State College.

Britten Himle, Valedictorian

Britten Himle is the daughter of Carrie and Adam Hogue and Jason Himle. She has attended Prague Public Schools since pre-K.

Britten has a 4.0 GPAand is president of the National Honor Society. She’s also been the secretary of FFA, captain of the Lady Devil basketball team, Student Council executive vice president and 2026 66 Conference Academic All Conference.

Her clubs and organizations include FFA, Student Council, basketball and golf team.

Britten has volunteered through many programs, including Prague First Baptist Church, the basketball team,FFA,StudentCouncil and Lions Club.

After graduation, Britten plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma on the President’s Leadership Council Scholarship.

Harley Johnson, Valedictorian

Harley Johnson is the daughter of David and Monica Johnson. She has attended Prague High School for 13 years.

Harley has a 4.0 GPAand an academic letter jacket. She also has All State jackets in cross country and track, the Hugh O’Brien Leadership Award, and is a Business Professionals of America (BPA) state winner and national qualifier. She’s received Lions Club awards, 66 Conference Academic All Conference cross country, the Shawnee News Star Athlete of the Week and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Top Lawyer and Witness Mock Trial.

Her clubs and organizations include BPA state vice-president, BPA chapter president, BancFirst and Vision Bank student boards, Student Council (Class and Executive Treasurer), NHSTreasurer, cross country, track, cheer, Youth for Christ, Future Farmers of America and mock trial.

Harley has volunteered with various organizations and served at food banks, blood drives, mission trips, cheer and track camps, sewed multiple projects for nursing homes and veterans, community events, the Oklahoma Summit, Stamp Out Starvation and the Christmas Tree Project.

After graduation, Harley plans to continue her cross country and track career at the next level while majoring in exercise science. She plans to become a physician assistant in sports medicine.

Hayden Kinslow, Valedictorian

Hayden Kinslow is the son of Matt and Kim Kinslow. He has attended Prague Public Schools since kindergarten.

He has a 4.0 GPAand has been on the honor roll. He’s also made Tri-County Prep for baseball, 66 Academic for football, student of the month and athlete of the week.

Hayden’s clubs and organizations include National Honor Society, baseball, football, Youth for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, Student Council, Vision Bank Board and BancFirst Board.

His community involvement includes church youth group.

Aftergraduation,Hayden plans to attend Rogers State University and earn a degree in business.

Frank Provaznik,Valedictorian Frank Provaznik is the son of Leon and Debra Provaznik. He has attended Prague Public Schools since pre-K.

He has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. He’s also on the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Lions Club.

Frank’s clubs and organizations include team president and hardware lead on the First Robotics Competition team; band; SkillsUSAl; and the preengineering program at Gordon Cooper Technology Center.

He has volunteered for the First Lego League Competition at Gordon Cooper, Sprockets and STEM outreach.

After graduation, Frank plans to attend Oklahoma State University to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering and start working in the defense industry.

Addison Richardson, Valedictorian Addison Richardson is the daughter of Justin and Amanda Richardson. She has attended Prague Public School for nine years.

She has a 4.0 GPA and wonmultipleLionsAwards in physical science, literature, Early American History, Oklahoma History, AdminTech,Art I,Algebra II, World Literature, Biology II and AP American Literature. She has also won the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Award, Art Student of the Year, 2025 Girls State delegate, Oklahoma Youth Tour delegate, anAcademic Letterjacket, 2026 Band Queen, Best in Show forArt at SSC Scholarship Meet, second in Art & Design at ECU Interscholastic Meet and Pride of Prague Academic Achievement.

Addison’s clubs and organizations include band, book club, art club, BPA, Student Council, National Honor Society, American LegionAuxiliary, National Society of High School Scholars, prom committee, VisionBank Leadership Council, BancFirst Financial Leadership Council and Dungeons and Dragons.

She is a math and English tutor and worked with Project Christmas Tree, Kolache window painting, vacation Bible school, football field clean-up and the Lion’s Club Flag Program.

After graduation, Addison plans to attend the University of Arkansas to obtain a degree so she can be an EFL teacher. After university, she plans to teach English and Art in South Korea.

BriannaNicholeRoller, Valedictorian Brianna Nichole Roller is the daughter of Jeremey and Jennifer Roller. She has attended Prague Public Schools for 14 years.

She has a 4.0 GPA and has been on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. She’s in the National Honor Society; theOklahomaHonor Society; the Seminole State ConcurrentHonorRoll;Phi ThetaKappaHonorSociety at Seminole State College; Mabee-GerrerMuseumArt Show (two Staff Choice awards); Lions Awards in American Literature and Art; in cross country, Academic All Star, Regional Team Champions in 2025 and State team runners up in 2025; and in BPA, she’s won second place at State on the Presentation Team in 2023 and competed at Nationals in California.

Brianna’s clubs and organizations include Student Council (executive officer, historian and senior class officer), BPA (sentinel), Art Club, cheerleading, cross country, track, Oklahoma CityNationalMemorial Museum Teen Board, HOBYdelegate, BancFirst Student Board, Vision-Bank Financial Leadership Council, Principal’s Advisory Board, Leadership Team, Gifted andTalented, Youth for Christ, prom committee and First Baptist Youth Group.

She has been a classroom assistant at vacation Bible school, a volunteer at Prague ECC Libary and Strothers Schools Library, a crossing guard at the Harvest Festival, instructor at the elementary track camp, a Penguin Store assistant shopper at Prague ECC, a volunteer at the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum, a volunteer at the 30th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony,and a service project organizer for Project Christmas cards and a server at Eat Around the World.

After graduation, Brianna plans to attend Seminole State College to get her business degree.

Talan Thomas, Salutatorian

Talan Thomas is the son of Jim and Tara Thomas. He has attended Prague Public Schools since seventh grade.

He has a 3.9 GPA and received a Boys State Leadership Award.

Talan’s clubs and organizations include National Honor Society, Student Council, Mock Trial, baseball, Leadership Team and Business Professionals of America.

He has helped with food drives and been a Lions Club flag volunteer.

After graduation, Talan plans to graduate from infantry OSUT, then attend the University of Oklahoma to study psychology and be a part of the ROTC program there. in sports medicine.
