Sue Ann (Wright) Martin was born April 23, 1935, in Chandler. She died Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the age of 85 years.
Martin, the daughter of Charlie and Mary Olive (Key) Wright, married Howard Martin in 1955.
She was a homemaker and worked at Hite Drug, Friends Mid-State Christian Academy and Chandler Public Schools. She was a member of Friends Church and First Baptist Church, both in Chandler.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother Thomas Key Wright.
Survivors include two children and their spouses, Katherine DiAnn and Tom Brown of Stillwater, Okla., and Stan and Sue Martin of Bellevue, Wash.; four grandchildren; her sister Charlene Jarrett of Lexington, Va.; a sister-in-law, Karen Wright of Shawnee, Okla.; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Thursday, September 10, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Chandler with burial following at Oak Park Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Physician’s Choice Hospice.
