Meeker High School had its annual contest last week to decorate the hallways for homecoming. Each class had a hallway to decorate in the theme of a specific decade. The Senior class, upper left, won the contest with its 1950s malt shop, complete with some knocked-out rockabilly and doo-wap tunes.
Friday was a beautiful day for late January and disk golfers took full advantage of it. The fivesome of Robert Spurlock, Harley Pettitt, Justin Hoover, Blake Ivie and Logan Pettitt made up one of many groups playing at McLoud’s course along the walking trail in the Lawrence Wahpepah Park.
Wellston Middle and High School students were recently awarded their Gordon Cooper STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) award for the Fall 2020 semester. Students were nominated by their instructors for excellence in STEM coursework.
