Thursday Oct 9th Gary and Johnnie Sue Bishop celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Gary was a graduate of Chandler High & OSU. He is one of three generations of angus cattle reserves in Lincoln County. Gary retired from the USDA after 40 years and 28 years in the army reserves as a LIC. His parents were Troy and Virginia Bishop of Chandler. Johnnie Sue was from Okemah. She raised three children. Wallecia, Teresa, and Gary W. Her dad was a district chief game ranger and her mother was a home maker. Both in Okemah. Gary & Johnnie Sue live on their ranch near Chandler, raising cattle since 1970. The Bishops have two grandchildren Tatum and Gavin.
