Emma Cummings and Payton Miller have been selected as Rotarians of the Month for the month of January.

Emma Cummings is the daughter of Rafe and Christon Cummings. Emma has one older brother, Ethan Cummings.

After Emma graduates, she is planning to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and major in English.

Emma is currently enrolled in concurrent classes at Rose State College and has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout all of high school.

Emma is involved in many activities at Chandler High School, she is in FFA, National Honor Society, PSI, Positive Peers, MFE Leadership Conference, ALD Conference, and Student Council.

Her volunteer work includes Chandler OK Recycles, Chandler Food Pantry, Stand down for veterans, and volunteer work at the Museum of Pioneer History.

Payton Miller is the daughter of Justin and Angela Miller. Payton has one younger brother, Landon Miller.

After Payton graduates, she is planning to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Oklahoma University and then transfer to Tulsa University and attend the CRNA Program.

Payton is currently enrolled in her second year at Gordan Cooper and is taking AP classes at her high school.

Payton has been involved in a large amount of volunteer work. She has helped in various nursing home item drives, be the match, Angel Tree Foundation, blood drives, Ronald McDonald House, Community recycling in Chandler, breast cancer and pediatric cancer awareness and donations, Helping hands, and Serve OKC.

Payton stays busy with her involvement in her FFA and HOSA chapter at Chandler High School, which much of her volunteer work has been done through.

Not only is Payton involved in these groups at school, she also holds a leadership position in office with both. Additionally, Payton was the junior class treasurer at Chandler High School last year.
