Stroud Costume Contest
The Stroud Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Trick-or-Treat Main Street and costume contest Friday, Oct. 30.
Baylie Charlee Kirk, pictured to the left, took first place in the 0-3 age category. In the age 4-6 category, pictured to the lower left, Phoenix Tipton took third with is Toothless costume, Emmaline Pritchett took first with her Sanderson witch costume and Ryleigh Goodman took second with her zombie costume.
In the 10-12 age category, pictured lower right, Garrett Holland took first place with his SpongeBob costume, Riley Williams took third with his scarecrow costume and Carley Miller and Jordan Neeley took second place with their puzzle piece costume.
In the 16 and up category, pictured below, Ethan Sellers took second place with his viking costume, Chris Charkowski took third with his Maverick costume and Melissa Goodman took first place with her Lego Batman costume.
Wellston Trunk Contest
The Wellston Chamber of Commerce hosted the third annual Trunk-or-Treat event in downtown Wellston Saturday, Oct. 31.
Over 10 trunks were decorated and judged. First place went to The Swindells with their horror movie theme, pictured to the right. Second place went to the King’s Family Homestead, pictured lower right. Third place went to the Rose Pirate Ship, pictured below.
