Sheriff’s Office carries out 3 simultaneous drug warrants

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with three other departments, completed three drug search warrants for three locations in Prague on Oct. 22 that resulted in the arrest of six people.

The warrants were carried out simultaneously at about 7:15 a.m. that morning, with help from the Prague Police Department, KickapooTribal Police Department and Stroud Police Department, according to Sheriff Kevin Garrett.

Garrett said the search warrants came about from an earlier traffic stop where fentanyl was discovered.

“The dog alerted to it, they found some fentanyl, made an arrest there, and then were able to tie in this other stuff to do a search warrant. And since they’re all kind of interrelated as far as associates, you had to try to do it simultaneously, which isn’t easy to do,” he said.

At a location on Jim Thorpe Blvd., Shane Long was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling where drugs are kept or sold, trafficking of methamphetamine and possession of CDS with intent within 2,000 feet of a park. Celeste Sharpnack was also taken into custody for possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At a location on Sekera Ave., Traci Stone and Raymond Lara were taken into custody for possessing or purchasing CDS within 1,000 feet of a public or private educational institution, public or park recreation area, or in the presence of a child under 12; using or possessing drugs; maintaining a dwelling where drugs are kept or sold; and any person who engages in a pattern of criminal offenses in two or more counties in this state or who attempts or conspires with others to engage in a pattern of criminal offenses.

At a location on 15th St., Bradley Foulks and Clifford Bryant were taken into custody for possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All six were transported to the Lincoln County Jail and booked.
