Senior safety program offered

John Cobb, Director of Central Oklahoma Economic Development District Area Agency on Aging, announced that a pilot program has been launched aimed at getting help to senior citizens in the event of an in-home incident.

The service “My Safety Call” is designed to help check in with seniors who live alone or who have ongoing health concerns and may be at risk for fall related injury. The service offers peace of mind and a way to help ensure the senior’s safety.

The pilot program is available to Oklahomans aged 60 and older residing in seven counties including Lincoln and Pottawatomie counties.
