Agra School Board approves class capacity for transfer

The Agra School Board met on June 8 and approved a number of routine items.

The Board went into executive session to discuss the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion, disciplining or resignation of any individual salaried officer or employee, specifically an evaluation of the superintendent.

When they returned from executive session, the board approved the class capacity for transfer law, keeping class sizes at 25 per elementary class and 35 per secondary class. They also approved a statutory waiver/deregulation for the libraries, a resolution to join Oklahoma Schools Insurance Group, and the quote for the 2026-27 school year.

The School Board also approved a food service management contract for 202627, and the resignations of Ron Brown, Mike Watkins and Calla Cargill.
