Davenport freshman Jimmie Brownfield established nine new American power lifting records at the Crain Open competition in Shawnee. Added to the 11 she set previously, she now has a total of 20 American records. She was also awarded the Best Lifter Award. She competed in the 125-pound class and has now set records in for different weight classes. Her best lifts at the Crain meet were 182 pounds in the squat, 90 pounds in the bench and 237 pounds in the deadlift.
