Betty Jean Riede passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. It was one of her wishes. She was born in Stroud, Oklahoma, on February 20, 1933, to Clyde and Midge (Manning) Allen.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brother.
Betty is survived by her daughter, son, her three grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Stroud First United Methodist Church. Internment followed at 2 p.m. at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
