DeraldRichardSpence was born December 17, 1945, in Chandler to Rex and Jewell (Gallaher) Spence. He passed away on January 6, 2025,inOklahomaCity at the age of seventynine.
Dick served in the Army where he completed four tours in Vietnam serving with the 11th Bravo Unit. He earned 2 Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star Metal, and the Army Commendation Metal.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his three children, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and other family and many friends.
In true Dick Spence fashion, he will be laid to rest next to his mother in a private interment with no service to be held. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
