Warnetha Mary Simek was born March 9, 1938, in Meeker to Warner and Loretha (Hignite) Pruitt. She passed away August 1, 2026, in Chandler at the age of 88.
Warnetha was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, a son, a daughter-in-law, eight grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment following at the Forest Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
