Tom Hammock was born August 14, 1936, in Wink, Texas. He died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in Broken Arrow, Okla., at the age of 85 years.
Hammock, the son of Victor Hammock and Ada Douglas, married Sammie Donnelly of Cleveland, Okla., on March 1, 1956.
A 1956 graduate of Oilton High School, he retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas in Stroud. He was a member of Stroud United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Sammie Hammock, his brother Jack Hammock and sister Barbara Brogan.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kristie Hammock of Chandler; his daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Shawn Davies of Broken Arrow; two grandchildren and their spouses; two great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A graveside service was held Friday, October 22, 2021, at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland with Pastor Mike Mitchell officiating. Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
