Meeker approves statement of needs

The Meeker Board of Education recently approved the Estimates of Needs and financial statement for 2022-2023, hired a teacher, an Aide and also an adjunct teacher. Board members also accepted the resignation of an Aide as well.

Commissioners approve theirs, too

Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to approve submitting their Estimate of Needs for the current Fiscal Year to their budget maker, Wilson, Dotson and Associates. County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained, “This is what will go to them. It’s just the Estimate of Needs.

Hearing set in road blocks case

A bond hearing has been set for next month for a driver facing two felonies and a pair of misdemeanors following a pursuit that began in Meeker and ended in Chandler in Lincoln County recently.

Meeker: No action on trail

Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees this week tabled any action on reviving a bike and horse trail at Meeker Lake after listening to a local citizen and discussing the idea.
