A status conference has been re-scheduled for a Tulsa woman charged with first degree manslaughter and multiple other felony offenses whose trial was declared a mistrial in 2022 and is to be retried.

Last weekend I received a piece of mail from my county election board. It was an application for absentee ballot. By filling out this application, it will allow the county election board to send me absentee ballots for all elections which I am eligible to participate in this calendar year (2023).

Long-time Stroud resident Delmer Summers suffered a terrible loss when his home went up in flames this past Saturday. His daughter Kalah resides with him but was not home at the time. I spoke with Delmer, and he told me he was lighting a kerosene heater when it just blew out on him.
